It got it right the first time, much to my amazement, but Mrs Greenback managed to thwart it with her go.

Got it wrong after 21 questions, then wrong again after37 goes. Finally it gave up!

When I tried this before, it failed to get Lieutenant Green of Captain Scarlet fame. This time however, I decided to go with something non-human, and chose a Pokémon (for the four people on this forum with an interest in the games... OK, maybe more than four), specifically my long-time favourite Starmie. His 17th question was "Is it a Pokémon?", and from there on he walked it. He didn't even try the unevolved Staryu first...

Very good. It has got 3 out of mine 4 so far. I can see this is going to get addictive!

Just tried it again with one Mr Hiram Hackenbacker... Brains from Thunderbirds to the common man. He asked if he was English on Questions 28 and 30, which seemed daft! He finally got it by asking about glasses on Question 40.

Pi? Pika! :D

Oh for Christ's sake this is scary.

I try and pick what I believe to be an obscure answer, Utahraptor from Dinosaur Comics, and the thing gets it in 13 guesses! :o

To be fair it did go rapidly through a list of media in the first few questions (film, book, TV etc.) and once it reached webcomics he was actually a fairly well-known character.

I tried to go a bit obscure. But it took it 19 questions to get Commander Harman 'Harm' Rabbi Jr from JAG. amazed how it got it too with the questions it asked.

Utterly brilliant! Reminds me of 20q.net

It got Lara Croft and Frasier Crane with ease after about 15 questions each.

Fooled it initially with Edward Teller, it guessed Wernher Von Braun. Let's see if it gets him as we continue on...

Third guess, it got it!

I tried an amusing way to trick the genie...

...and he got it after just 12!

"Is it... Yourself?"

(His ninth question was this: "Do you and your character share the same DNA?")

Apparently it's been tried almost 200,000 times

He also guessed himself correctly. No modesty there then. He has been used almost 400,000 times!

On the other hand, he then correctly guessed Kyrano from Thunderbirds... having been played less than 10 times. Poor Kyrano :(

This is rather good fun. 3/4 it's got right so far:

Arya Stark
George W. Bush
Genghis Khan

But it didn't get Danielle Wyatt. I could waste quite a bit of time on this game

I've just managed to fool it twice, with Philip Martin Brown (Waterloo Road) and Lucinda Dryzek (Life of Riley)

However it managed to guess Emma Watson (After only 12 questions which was impressive, although when it asked me 'Does your character apear in Harry Potter it pretty much walked it), Robert Lyndsay, myself, Jeremy Clarkson, Hugh Grant and then it managed to get Scott Tracey from Thunderbirds on its third guess (Guessed me first time, don't know how it managed that one. Second go it guessed Virgil which was increadibly close)

It got Zidane Tribal (Final Fantasy IX) after 3 questions
It didn't get Stuart Coburn (Altrincham Goalkeeper), but I didn't really expect it to :D

Foiled it twice now, so far I have been given Lou Reed and Don Henley as answers, both of which are incorrect!
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
It took 40 questions, but eventually he got it correct - Glenn Frey. Except for he isn't the lead singer of the Eagles, nor is he from California.

Out of interest, when you do fool it, I hope you're all taking the time to tell it what you were thinking of... the more it learns, the better.
