I've recently encountered several errors in TS2012 which has resulted in errors on every route i've tried. Basically i get a message box saying there are missing dependancies.

Now , if anyone know's whether uninstalling and reinstalling TS2012 would solve the problem or not but what's bothering me is would i stand to loose my addons that i've already bought?

Many thanks.

Since it's with steam, if you redownload/ reinstall it, all steam addons will be downloaded at the same time.

Firstly i suggest right clicking Train Simulator 2012 in the games tab, Select Properties, Local Files then 'Verify Interity of game content'.

It will check all the files on Railworks then proceed to download any missing or changed files. So if you use sound packs or things that modify game files. you will have to reinstall them.

No problem at all i hope it fixes the problem.

Steam is a very handy tool to have. Also if your after any DLC wait for Railworks to appear on the daily deals, as may be more then 50% off

Thanks for the info , got it working in the end. Unfortunately it was a complete reinstall but nothing was lost.

Thanks again.
