A huge thank you

Apologies for the general post but I wanted to say a quick thank you to those members who are happy to share tips and advice on this section of the forum. Found out today that I've passed my medical and will start as a trainee depot driver in July after about four years of trying to get into the industry.

Those who followed the VTEC trainee driver saga may know I was part of that cohort and it was the advice of members of this forum that really helped me to reach the end of that process and to understand how recruitment in the railways works. I honestly think that without this forum I wouldn't have reached the end of that process or the one I have ultimately been successful in.

Cheers mate! Found out this week I've managed to secure a trainee position at my current TOC after they kindly let me sit a few extra tests which they required. It's a talent pool for 2019 but I'm a bit more confident that this one will actually end up with a start date!
