Was gonna go out for that today (strangely I'd chosen Easenhall as a location as well!!!) but elected to depress myself by stopping at home watching the 1st day of the 2nd Test once I noticed the weather taking a turn for the worse. Oh, and as for England, one of these days we'll actually learn not to toss away excellent positions....

Well it was partly due to your photos I went to Easenhall, as your photos showed it was a better spot than I thought it was plus its on the drive home. I had better luck than last week there when 56311 only got as far as Rugby.

As for the annual leave - ouch! It's been a bad week hasn't it? The start of next week looks poor as well Blame my parents for taking a holiday to Bournemouth this week and next!!! What happened to this warm hot summer we were supposedly having?!

I predict the warm hot summer will begin on Monday 27th, with me stuck in a 170/1 cab and the luverly breathable shirts that XC have provided us with! Honestly, I think it'd be cooler to work wrapped up in cling film

The shots are very good - my favourite is 6233 rounding the bend at Hatton. A few good ones from the GCR as well. Is it me or is Kinchley Lane starting to get overgrown?

And yes Matt, I hate those shirts, esp the white ones!!!!

Maybe they need to send some veg clearing volunteers out. After all, this location sells the line in all the shots used. Nothing there dates it and the telegraphs look at home too
