"We spend a day at Vigo Bridge on the Lickey Incline in the Autumn of 2012. The incline is a notorious 1 in 37, and Vigo Bridge is located 3/4 of the way up. It is a popular vantage point for enthusiasts, and whilst nostalic locos like Class 47s on Cross Country train have gone, there are still opportunities to see a Class 60 battling up with TEAs, or Class 37s/20s on the Nuclear Flask duties.
The first part is a brief session in the morning, and then we move onto an hour at Vigo Bridge, where you will get an idea of the passenger service pattern. There is also a couple of freight trains too.
We then see the RHTT with TnT Class 67s vice MPV, and we later attempt to get two pairs of heritage traction, one pair from Berkeley and one from Bridgwater, will we get bowled??
To finish off, we take a cabride on a Class 170 (170 112) from Bromsgrove to Barnt Green, with some speedometer shots just to prove that even modern DMUs can't gain speed on such an incline.

I really had fun making this, though it took about half a week in all, setting up different consists and driving each one up or down the hill. AI was used a couple of times for passing trains but that's all, they are too slow so otherwise I did all the driving.
It sort of gives a chance to showcase the different payware items there are too, such as the JT Class 60, the RHTT in action, the Advance Voyager/153 and more.
I hope you enjoyed this, as I plan to do another for specials up the Lickey.
