the modernization plan included the following steps:
Restoration of 4 tracks and 4 platforms for all stations between Tyseley and Dorridge:
1) Acocks Green: Second Island platform rebuilt, and car park relocated into a multi-story building in spare space alongside the track or underground

2) Olton: Second Island platform rebuilt and connected to current platform via bridge, and canopies added.

3) Solihull: Second Island platform rebuilt and connected to current platform via bridge, and canopies added.

4) Widney Manor: Second Island platform rebuilt, and and connected to current platform via bridge, and canopies added. Car park relocated either in a multi story building nearby, above the station or underground.

5) Dorridge: Despite having 4 tracks, there's only 3 platforms, and a 4th one needs to be constructed, also connected via bridge.

Upgrades to London section:
1) Restore quadruple track between South Ruislip and West Ruislip. This would involve the reconstruction of the down platform at West Ruislip, the reconstruction of the up platform at South Ruislip and the demolition of West Ruislip signal box. This is already proposed

2) Construct a new combined West Hampstead Interchange, bringing together 3 close stations to allow easy access between the London Underground (Jubilee Line), Overground (Mildmay line) and Thameslink.

3) If the West London Orbital (WLO) ever goes ahead, add Overground services to Marylebourne via Old Oak Common

Partial Electrification:
1) Electrify Snow Hill sections down to Stratford-Upon-Avon and Leamington Spa
2) Electrify London section from Marylebourne to Gerrards Cross
3) Partial electrification would allow fully electric trains for local commuter services, especially WMR (730s likely used, but could require platform lengthening. Alternatively order new trains). Chiltern (or GBR replacement) can switch to bi-mode trains (e.g., class 93s and 755s).
4) Full electrification could be discussed in the far future.

I also support the Midland Rail Hub Project in current form. Regarding its plans to have XC services terminate at Moor Street, I think XC should stop at Solihull and/or Dorridge.

what do you think of my idea(s)?

What does all this do? 4 tracking South to West Ruislip I can't really see the point of and where is it proposed?. What sort of services are you looking to run to Dorridge to require 4 tracks? XC want to get away from Solihull, not serve it and it will be the 170 routes that end up there. Any new stock on Chiltern will be multiple units, not loco.

I would like to see a half hourly stopper for all of the London suburban stations. London Marylebone - Wembley Stadium - Sudbury & Harrow Road - Sudbury Hill Harrow - Northolt Park - South Ruislip - West Ruislip - Denham - Denham Golf Club - Gerrards Cross etc. We were promised this when the four 172s were ordered but yet it never happened. I think that a frequent service would be very popular as these are suburban London areas and it would provide a fast service in to the city.

Restoring the four tracks on the full South Ruislip to West Ruislip section would make it much easier for fast trains to overtake slow trains. It could allow more stoppers to run. It is more difficult to overtake at the moment as it is only very short loops requiring tight timings. I think it would have a lot of benefit.

I think you'd need a longer stretch of quad (thinking Ruislip) - likely to at least Denham, which has a weird layout and could be rebuilt with two sides - to give more room for dynamic passing and pathing. But probably even further.

Denham could also have an inner island, with outside passing loops - and turn the odd tph back towards Marylebone.

It sets any timetable in stone though as you force an overtake at a single point.

What would this area look like, with the junction towards OOC and the waste site? It sounds complicated to have seven lines heading east, but hopefully worth it.

What route are you thinking of?
