I'm set up for the vacancy email alerts.
When I click on a vacancy link for more information I'm directed to login to a secure gateway.
I'm an external applicant, and therefore I haven't got access via this route.
It's frustrating because I'd like to view more details about the role.
Is anyone else having the same issue?

It has always been like this, at least since I have been using the NR careers site. Basically the vacancies in the 18.00 email will hit the external list by 06.30 or so the following morning.

So what is the best way to see more details for a vacancy?
Simply search for vacancies on the NR website as usual?

Daily search "signaller" on the NR careers site, then you can just click on the one that interests you.

No, there a supplement to personal daily checks - that’s the only way to ensure you see all the jobs that make it external.

Only the situational judgement isn't timed. If I remember rightly you have 19 minutes to complete 20 math questions.

Should be able to register for the alerts NR career page.
Select which fields of interest you have and the frequency of alerts.

Hello, I've submitted my tests and had an email through saying I've reached the bench mark and I will be contacted shortly on the next stage.. good news I guess? Will I actually get my test results back or do they just tell you if you've reached the bench mark or not?

You won’t get any results. Just the info you’ve passed to the required standard. These will be kept on file and used in any future applications (for 6 months I think).

Heya bud i just had my interview last week and they said at if i am unsuccessful,more jobs in that area will be coming up but 2 of my tests are expired on feb 24.

Does that mean i have to do them again or they would get me straight in?

Could you define 'expired' - did you do two of the tests last year or something?

As for when you hear back, can be as quick as 3 days, can be 3 months....... mine was 6-8 weeks after interview I think

Yea 2 of my tests are not valid now...

They told me i would hear in 2 weeks but if anything else comes up i might not have to have interview but when you apply for a job,if your test results are not valid,you will be sent straight to that page and do them again?

If you apply for a job in the future and your test results are still valid (i.e done within 12 months) then these test results are applied automatically so you won't even get the email asking you to do them.

Yep defo but in interview,they told me they wouldnt have to interview me again and just get me straight in!

The only time you’d not require reinterview is if for example position A was taken and they offered you position B under the same LOM.

It’s highly doubtful another LOM would offer you a job on the back of an interview with another LOM which they had no part in.

Morning all,

Does anyone know how the payment is calculated for when you take annual leave and get an extra bump as technically you were unable to work OT while away?

This will be my first year of getting it (only been passed out for 9 months) so was just going to try and do a few sums to give myself a rough idea what to expect.

Also, any updates on the pay negotiations? I did a little google but couldn't find anything nore recent than Jan.

If you've received a letter telling you how much you're due there was a formula on it.

I've not got a letter as I'm that new but I have seen it
