Any idea what happened to this - seems to have been delayed at Stafford and then gone TV and judging from a subsequent ECS arriving at Nuneaton, terminated at Lichfield. This cl.390 then appears to have turned into a Voyager and run to Stafford - however trackit has this last with times at Penkridge so presumably actually went to Oxley.
Both RTT and trackit have it as cord pulled, but it seems odd that at almost exactly the same time the 18.40 EUS-MAN was cape for the same reason.
Further confused by a 20.00 schedule from Stafford, but this left early and was presumably the booked 5D32BHM-Central Rivers diverted to Crewe, also in RTT as cord pulled.
All this from noticing there is a STA-Central Rivers in for tonight seemingly out of thin air - presumably no fwd dvr for 5D32.

From what I can make out, 1A53 had a loss of air and was terminated at Nuneaton. 9M86 was terminated at Stafford, to be used as a replacement unit for 1A53. The 390 then formed 9G46 on arrival at Euston.

The Voyagers on 1A53 then formed 5D53 and went to Central Rivers via Stafford and New Street. Had to wait at Stafford for forward driver, departing 2116.

Attribution was originally down to a passcom activation, but was later revised.

All other movements are likely to be service recovery measures due to various tracks on the Trent Valley being shut.

9M86 had started from Warrington Bank Quay due to the Pendolino at Edinburgh having a pantograph fault.

Confirmed that 1A53 16.35 Chester-Euston was in trouble at Lichfield North and the plan was to transfer passengers on site. In the event 1A53 was able to go forward to Nuneaton for a transfer. As there weren't two 1A53s on the move together there was no need to produce a fresh schedule so it doesn't show up on "public" systems.
The Voyagers returned to Central Rivers via Stafford and Birmingham, with a seperate schedule from Stafford, hence the odd Penkridge times in the Nuneaton-Stafford schedule.
The 18.40 Euston-Manchester, being a peak fares train, appears to have been cancelled to provide a set for the 19.10 to Chester as far as Crewe, where it formed the booked 5G73 Manchester Oxley, withe the set on 5D32 Birmingham-Central Rivers diverted to Crewe to form the 19.10 forward.
Thus the attribution to cord pulled is reasonable - as far as I am aware any change of attribution doesn't get into the public systems.
Incidentally last night's 5D32 went into the goods at Stafford rather than p.6.

They may be station codes, but you should remember that not all of us use or need to know any of these (eg signalling staff etc), plus the Forum rules state that they should not be used in a first instance.
