67009 was my last one for site, it was visible through the trees from the car park of a care home on Coppenhall Heys just off Victoria Avenue. You might need to wait until the leaves drop. As for the other two I have no idea where they are in the depot now.

67011 is stored at the Crewe end of the depot in the line with the long term stored 90s & 92016.
90040 is stored behind 67009 if you were standing in the above mentioned location. Its sandwiched between a GC 90 (90026?) and 67018.

Excellent help thanks. I got close to here when I went looking before (the industrial estate).

Its on the end of the line nearest the depot building so in theory yes just about if you look at the right angle, however it very much depends on how dense the vegetation is at the moment (I haven't been that way in a while so unfortunately can't say definitely)

It's worth keeping an eye out for recent drone footage of Crewe electric on youtube. It's usually possible to locate the locos from the footage, which can be useful come winter time.

I've got a few dates in mind. But September and October are busy months with family things.

90040 is on the latest tender list so you may see it on the way to the scrapyard!

I would wait for late Autumn or Winter when the leaves have fallen. We can't be doing our hobby in summer !.

As for the care home car park. I have a theory driving in and not standing outside the car is more subtle. Do/did that at depots. Walking in and hanging around always looks more sus. Its a care home so an appointment to view the facilities might be useful if a bit cheeky !.
