Will newly painted DB Red Class 90 no. 90029 be working the Caledonian sleeper on a regular basis?

I don't see why it'll be used any differently to the rest of the fleet. It does look very smart and I don't usually like DB livery.

And as ash39 says, 90029 should continue to be a regular on the Scottish sleepers.

It is interesting to note that the first class 90 to gain DB Schenker livery is the one that wore another version of Deutsche Bahn red livery for the greatest part of the nineties!

It looks brilliant! Im hoping it crops up on the sleeper on a regular basis. DBS only operate one other regular 90 diagram anyway and thats 6L48 Garston-Dagenham Car Carriers, I think it will probably appear on that regularly. Last time I saw it, it was double headed with 90024 & 90020.

I would like to see more 66s in DB Red, I think it suits the locos very well. Definitely suits 60s and 92s

I dislike DB livery on the whole, it's too bright and very boring. At least on the 90 the grey is more prominent which takes the edge off, and being shorter in length than a 60 or 92 it doesn't look too bad. I never thought EWS suited the 90's though so won't be a shame to see them repainted.

I entirely agree with this. As well as (as far as the present UK version is concerned):

I dislike DB livery on the whole, it's too bright and very boring.
