Two of my brothers went to Leicester on Tuesday and saw the Class 20's with the LU S-Stock parked on the siding for roughy 30 Minutes to an hour so trains could pass, i hate my brothers becuase they got it on film...LOL!
Just wondering what path does it take from Derby to London?
The train leaves Old Dalby @11:42 and doesn't pass through Tamworth HL until around 18:00, so it's a right old stagger (speed limit 35mph).
Derby > Birmingham > Solihull > Banbury > Princes Risborough (reverse) > Aylesbury (reverse) > Amersham > Neasden...
...I think. Someone posted the route in a thread on this forum last week, but can't for the life of me find it!

I believe it misses Leicster. It goes Deby, Tamworth, solihull, banbury, then down the Chiltern mainline.
this is the last time i'm going to say it on this thread, and i'll write in capitals. There is no tube stock moves from derby to london, they go from derby to old dalby, and old dalby to london.
i know but i can not be bothered to put from derby to old dalby then from old dalby to london
. Does anyone have any more info on this?Rumours are about of an 8X09 Old Dalby to Amersham TONIGHT. Does anyone have any more info on this?
