Bit of a sorry state at Dawlish today. Also does anyone know why it would be going along with the coupling cover open? A few times I have seen this and wonder can’t be good for aerodynamics!!!

Pretty surprised to see GWR running it around in that state actually; they're usually better than this.
Preferable to a cancelled train is about the only positive spin I can put on it. Hitatchi need to do their job properly - and pronto!

There’s been a spate of graffiti recently,I don’t know at which location it’s occurring though. Several IETs have been running around with the coupler covers isolated in the open position,presumably due to faults/waiting parts etc.
