800026 arrived back at North Pole on Friday. It requires exams and should be back in traffic by the end of next month.

800026 in service. Not sure when it returned but it is currently on the 1359 Cheltenham to Paddington. It looks immaculate!

It's the first of the 5-car 800/0s to have their vinyl wraps removed in favour of a coat of green paint.
Oh wow, you can really tell. It looks like a 802 now - you could usually identify one from the other by the shiny paint or dull matt vinyl of the exterior. Great decision to do that, and I assume the thirty-five others will soon follow.

It depends how long the GWR contracts has left. Not worth if only 2 or 3 years
They won’t be rebranding the operation any time soon, whether First keep hold of it or not.

Just got off 802003 to see it very badly tagged - across all five carriages. Perhaps that’ll be requiring some attention next!

Not that I am aware of, I am aware there is a LNER IET sitting as seen yesterday at the Arlington Works. Will likely give updates of whatever I see.
Due to leave this week, then 800105 should arrive.

Looks more like a European train from the 1990s!

Edit: just seen it through Newbury
