I was looking at upgrading on the avanti website to upgrade to standard premium and I was surprised to see it say all reservable seats had been sold. But that I should be able to do it on the train
How busy this is train normally (it starts from Manchester) its only because I'll have a case and don't want an issues. Hopefully no issue upgrading on train.
Thoughts please.

You can buy a Standard Premium advance on that train, no problem.

Are you trying to upgrade an existing Advance?

Yes i am managed to do this for an advance service the other day no issue but if fine on board then it isn't an issue:)
