Very nice pics there Beaker:)

I saw 1497 at Brockenhurst last Friday, on it's way out, towards Lymington at 14:59.

I've just had a quick check on fares along the branch, and the thing which stands out is:

Cheap Day Return= £2.70 (Quite reasonable)
Standard Day Return= £2.90 (Ok)
First Day Return= £10.40!!

I think i'll stick with a CDR!

How come there was a person doing H-O on the train- was it still in service at the time you took the photos?

Which is the rare crossover please? The one from the branch onto the Down, used last journey? Or to the Up? The rarest move, which cannot have been done for years now since the demise of the Eastleigh-Lymington trains must be the move from the Down into P4, which I can only imagine is used these days by p/way machines?

Down line - Lymington branch, Brock station country end.

Re: Down line - platform 4; it's normally done to allow a fast to overtake a stopper ....
