Yes she did. As I said somewhere else, my old man saw her northbound at Bedford, and then returning through Biggleswade. Mostly on time, I understand, with a 37 at the rear.

Nice touch with the little cough at the end - a little coal dust or a nostalgic catch of the throat?
BTW - isn't there now a new Freightliner diesel with exactly the same number? (The one numbered after the one that got dropped back on the ship cargo deck?)
