7:31pm Smethwick Galton Bridge to Chester train.

Bloomin' train got diverted. Then trains ran past a few minutes later. Not inpressed with the service from Smethwick GB to Wolves tonight.

[meolebrace]

Oh no announcements it had been diverted either.

Smethwick Galton Bridge is sadly a dire interchange that is poorly staffed and poorly informed, something the local Rail User Group have been challenging LM about for years. Lets hope the new lot can have a better attitude to this issue.

How do you get on a Rail User Group?

[JonathanP]

You just join - they are privately run groups, not official bodies.

(SLUG is the only one I am personally aware of and probably the one being referred to, but I'm sure there are others).

Contact details for your local group are published on the TOC websites ours also runs a facebook site. https://www.facebook.com/groups/407285492711907/

Thanks but no help to the individual stuck down the hole at Galton Bridge. The industry needs to up their game on that one.
