6A11 Robeston to Theale (66654) loaded fuel tanks has sat in Hullavington loop for nearly 40 hours now. Anyone know if this is a loco problem or a fault within the train itself ?

Why haven't Freightliner uncoupled the offending tank wagon in the loop and taken the rest of the train to Theale?
I imagine that one reason is that it's a DB-operated train.

66651 and upwards are DB Cargo's.
66651-66656 are DB

6A11 now showing as 8Z11 on Traksy at Hullavington, so presumably a low speed wheelskate move?
Saw this and decided to make an account.
I was acting as Protection Controller for the DB recovery team last night. One Skate was fitted to a wagon under OHLE Isolation and Line Blockages.
(There was originally a plan on Wednesday night to get the skate fitted in an Emergency Possession though there was not enough resources in terms of Staff Competencies to actually deliver this in a timely manner and so was cancelled).
Unfortunately it took slightly longer than initially estimated last night, (Staff still on site beyond 0410hrs) and so there was no space for it to leave the same night. Whilst the Line Blocks were in place no Train could be moved either of course!
Another Loco came in and the original header was disconnected. When it’s able to depart (later tonight) it will then limp to Chipping Sodbury I believe.

Amazing update and photos, and welcome to the forums!
Presumably the wagon is still loaded, so about 25 tons on the skate? No doubt a very slow move when it gets going.

Yes all wagons are loaded with Aviation Fuel from what I understood. The particular wagon in question was around five or so behind the Loco, (from memory) so not far off the (now) rear when it departs anew.
It will be a very slow and careful move indeed!

Will all lines in the area be fully closed to other traffic when the move takes place?
That I can’t say. But from the upset at not having time to get it out early this morning I should think they’re hoping for a large gap somewhere on the timetable at least.

Looks like it was finally moved last night to Westerleigh via a slow move. Via the up line to Westerleigh junction?

It was the same service, 6A11, that derailed and caught fire at Llangennech on 26/8/20. The RAIB report into that accident identified a locked wheelset which damaged the track as the primary cause. This incident at Hullavington thankfully didn't cause any serious issues, but the use of a wheelskate seems to indicate a similar wagon defect.

Needless to say, it caused Hullavington of delays. 
I mean where was the load going not the wagon for repair.

The trains from Robeston to Westerleigh and Theale don't convey any aviation fuel, just regular fuel products.
Typically you can get a mix of petrol / diesel / gas oil (red diesel) and kerosene in various combinations on that kind of train.
Aviation fuel is a type of kerosene, but other grades of kerosene are used mainly as a heating oil from what I can gather: https://www.crownoil.co.uk/guides/kerosene-guide/

Has the curse struck again? 6A11 (66656) has been sat in the loop at Wootton Bassett since 04-45.
Just got signal out of the loop east of Swindon station.
Although not updated on RTT.
Update - Seen on FB that the service was shunted at Didcot to remove a wagon with a flat.
