67023 and 027

If these are dedicated sleeper locos, I’m surprised they weren't painted into CS blue/ teal such as the previous 67. In any case, this is certainly an improvement on 67028 at the moment in that horrific faded Colas yellow.

There's only one other 67 that carried/carries unbranded Colas livery... and that's 67023 in Scotland.

In the Rail Magazine (issue 989) GBRF are no longer using the 67s after the regeneration of the 73/9s and 66s. Because of this the 67s are not needed anymore and are back in the Colas pool. 67027 is in GBRF livery with Colas logos on and 67023 is still in Colas Rail livery.

Handed back to Beacon Rail apparently. With the big new things coming it’s hardly a surprise, though it is a little surprising given the work that went into it. Oh well, no more 67s for the sleeper then!

Basically they are using the 73s now instead of the 67s hence why the 67s are not being used anymore and are back in the colas pool for future use if any.

67027 is currently out and about over the next few days, presumably route learning. It's out today on 0Z67 Westbury Down TC to Worcester TC.

No. Strictly 0Z67 worked from Westbury Down Yard to Worcester North Sidings/Marshalling Yard, not the Light Maintenance Depot.

Anyone wondering where both 67s are: 67027 as of 13th September is at Westbury Up Yard and 67023 is at Crewe Electric Traction Maintenance Depot. I hope this helps.
