I noticed that a 67 was coupled to the front of an East coast MK4 set at Kings Cross on Friday morning - the 67 in place of the 91.
Was the 67 replacing an unavailble 91 or was the set subsituting for an HST?

It was in platform 1 or 2 at 9:25 Friday morning when my FCC train was arriving into Kings cross.

No the Class 91 will have failed for one reason or another (or it was wrong way round and the TDM was acting up) and the skip would haul the train to Bounds Green T&RSMD (about 3 miles north of the Cross)

Eg DVT fails en route so the 91 is moved round to the front of the train, but the train now has no way of going the other direction so has to be dragged to Bounds Green by something else.

Please correct me if that's not possible.
