66526 for Poland?

66526 has been out of service for a while now at Midland Road.I've heard it may be Poland bound-can anyone confirm this please?

I think I know why you said that, 66526 is named Driver Steve Dunn in memory of the driver who was killed in the Great Heck Accident.

I think I know why you said that, 66526 is named Driver Steve Dunn in memory of the driver who was killed in the Great Heck Accident.

There is a secondary reason to that, although directly related to the reason you posted. It was James's dad on the footplate at the time of the incident.

66 521 was actually involved in the Great Heck Accident, although it was written off.

It has been stated on WNXX that 66526 is not off to Poland!

Apparently it needs a turbo repaired / replaced and is on the mend!
