does anyone know why eddie the engine has been out of action since july last year, and why it as taken so long to fix, just read it has re-entered service, just being nosey really.

Its a DRS machine running on a Stobarts contract.

It Had a major fault and at one stage was declared a technical write off.
Was fixed at Crewe and sent back upto Kingmoor Last week (i think) and wa sent out on 4Z43 Kingmoor - Haverton Hill and 4Z44 Haverton Hill - Kingmoor Yesterday

The last notable movement was on 7/7/07 I think when it hauled for DRS Railtours.
