There was much work on the Chiltern Line on Sunday with the northbound line from High Wycombe being closed. Class 66171 was hauling the rail ballast wagons and I was wondering of the origins of this train ? Where was 66171 stabled and where did it go to pick up the ballast wagons ?

Cheers

Hinksey Yard is the usual location for DB ballast work.
