Hi all something weird was going on last night down here in the windsor area my dad went to get something and apparently something on its own went past which was red and little. It was heading into windsor and hasn't yet come back..... it wouldn't of been enegennering works because theyre were no signs up saying there would be. Dad thought it was a shunter. 1 hour later... 2 workers went just a little bit past my house and checked the track 5 mins later theyre back:neutral: What ever is going on here!

Well EWS 66's are sort of red... I serverly doubt it would have been a shunter, either...

Postman Pat, who took a wrong turn on to the line perhaps?

To give you an example there does not have to be any signs up about engineering works for there to be any. For the past 2 nights we have had 2 top and tailed EWS 66's through Poole on CE trains. These were not advertised and no TSR's were present Out of intrest one train was a ballast drop and the other one early this morning was a clear up train, used rail and sleepers that sort of thing. The ballast drop comprised of 8 seacows and the trainload was about 325 tonnes according tot he paperwork I got sent.
