60s in the South West

Ok, now we're getting more & more sightings in recent weeks or so of 60s down here again, thought I would make up a new thread for this. I'll try & keep posted any sightings I see when I'm at work. Anyway, does anyone know why all of a sudden were getting them again after a long absence?

66's going to euro cargo rail in france, at the weekend there were 4 67's on ballast duties and a 60 as well, instead of the normall 66's

Aye, saw her leaving Tavy Junc. after picking up more stuff from the yard. What a sight, boy the driver wasn't 'arf giving it some welly leaving the yard! Classic! :thumbrig:

What's that gotta do with 60s in the South West!!??

More 66's going abroad mean theres less to use over here and therefore 60s will crop up a bit more. Theres been loco shortages in the SW area, especially with the amount of ballast/engineering work going on...
