60087 on the Wensleydale Railway

60087 suffered a serious failure at Northallerton last week and has been in the sidings at Northallerton since then. Yesterday it was dragged up to Castle Hills by 60026 on a wheel skate, and today it has been collected by 37250 to take it down the Wensleydale railway to Leeming Bar, where it will be moved on by road.

Thank you for the update. A sensible use of the infrastructure available. For anyone who doesn’t know the area, Leeming Bar is close to Junction 51 of the A1(M), which will aid any road-based transfer.
