60009 The Cumbrian Mountain Express 12/7/14.

LNER A4 60009 Union of South Africa was at the helm of The Railway Touring companies railtour " The Cumbrian Mountain Express " . The train started at London Euston with 60009 coming on at Carnforth for the leg over Shap bank to Carlisle .The return would see the A4 take the Settle and Carlisle line with the steam coming off at Farington junction. The first shot see 09 hammer through Oxenholme with the chime whistle screaming away and thanks to the guys at Willans for letting me film from there yard . The return sees the A4 at Cumwhinton near the foot crossing and finally Smardale and Waitby rock cutting . Best watched in 1080hd . Thanks to Stu for updates .
