60007 not working the tynsider

Just been on UK Steam and a diesel is working from newcastle to york now not 60007 which is unavailable even though it is currently at heaton depot.
I know that this loco is know for failing.

anyone know what is up.

From what I Have been told its a valve gear fault or something related to that.

The tour will be diesel hauled from Newcastle to York, 60009 will then takeover from York as planned.
