An interesting run today. 5T06 which is showing on RTT as a Class 390 operating from Widnes TT to Chester DMU depot. I assume this would have been a drag all the way from Widnes?

It won’t be a Pendo, presumably a 175. It’ll just show a 390 on RTT as that’ll be what’s available as a timing out of the Alstom shed.

Firstly, RTT does not tell you what traction is working it but what Timing Load is being used. It was 175006 and there is a lot of useful information here:-

It was probably timed as a 390 to Ditton, then as a 175 afterwards as there won't have been the SRT for the first move.
