That was my thought exactly - could end up all over the place I guess. A wet and windy evening in Blazingsmoke for me then....until it turns up!!!:)

Never thought a few years back I'd ever get to see 59003, one of many signs recently that the UK railway scene is still changing and, in some areas, getting better!

Further report from WNXX: Warwick 16:50 - 24 late.

Cold, wet but worth it. 8-)

Arrived at Didcot Parkway at 18.30. As an added bonus it came through platform 5 (rather than via the east curve), and was held at a red for a couple of minutes - great opportunity to get some unexpected photographs.
