How would a 70 compare to a 59 on the Medip work.
I know the 59s all need a major overhaul, is it worth doing or would a 70 just be able to take over the work
Sure dB would just stick 66s on instead but Colas 70 has worked my local aggregate traffic at Newhaven from Acton once upon a time so no reason why they couldn't, if they have the drivers
Am I right in my understanding that 70s are more designed for heavy haul such as aggregate as opposed to work the Freightliner ones do in pulling long container trains?

I thought DB were losing the Mendip contract to Freightliner, which is why the OP may have asked about 70s? But then again, FL could just put 66s on too...
