57313-316 still in Wembley Yard?

Hi all

Last week 57313-316 were noted in the Wembley yard area - I still need 313 and 315 for sight (since renumbering from 47's) and can get up there tomorrow (Tuesday)

Does anyone know whether they are still there and if so whereabouts in the yard - visible I hope!!

There was gen about them heading to Eastleigh for storage but I havent seen or heard anymore

The original gen was from 8/12 on se-gen but wnxx news http://www.wnxx.com/news/index.htm had this today

Who's after the 57/3s...?
Since the change to DRS supplied 57/3s for WCML duties 57313 57314 57315 and 57316 (all IWCA) have been laid up at Wembley. Various rumours have been circulating as to their future including the 57s going to WCRC, being added to the Network Rail fleet or going off to Eastleigh Works for store. At the moment rumour one, that 57313 57314 57315 and 57316 may be WCRC at Carnforth bound, is favourite...

Was that was taken last Saturday? They were near Stonebridge Park station last week and, as far as I could see about 30 minutes ago, are still in the same place. I would be slightly surprised if they had been moved anywhere else in the complex over the weekend then returned to the same place.

The likely option is they go to WCRC, but you never know.

Looks like there on the move again. Funnily enough, 3 of them have moved not to the red team, but up from Wilesden to Crewe Gresty Bridge. Make of that what you will.

Speaking of Blue 57s, 57603 will be making it's move back from Loughborough to the Oak within the next few days aswell.

More /3s for DRS...?
It would appear that DRS are taking on more 57/3s following the despatch north this afternoon of 57314 57315 and 57316 (all still IWCA) to Crewe Gresty Bridge from Wembley. 57316 was the hauling locomotive. Transfer to DRS will be confirmed once the trio are reallocated from the IWCA pool to XHAC. 57313 (IWCA) remains at Wembley.

Looks like 14/15/16 will go to DRS, and WCRC will have 13 at the moment. At least they have all found homes, which is more that can be said for the 317/7s or the 57/0s and 180s that sat out of use for many years.

And off to Carnforth they go. Wonder what West Coast have in mind for these 4 - 316 Seems to be on a short term loan to DRS at the moment.

It has been confirmed that WCRC are buying/have bought four Class 57/3s - 57313 57314 57316 and 57316. This development indicates that the use of 57316 by DRS is a short term lease
