Took a ridiculously early trip out this morning to fot 57002 at International on Spitfire's latest tour to Carlisle. For reasons inexplicable, they'd turned the lights off on platform 2 so I had to make do with a shot from the narrow side on platform 1.

Back home at 05:30 and back to bed, only to hear that both the Spitfire Tour and Chingfinder's Western had gone up the X-City north die to an incident with a Voyager somewhere near Tamworth. Kinda wish I'd been out to record some rare traction for the Lichfield line, despite the weather!
