I thought that my railway moves were over for July but when Mrs 13, ever a sociable sort (unlike me

), found out that it was her mate's 60th birthday she just had to take her out for the day.
She brought the subject up by saying "is there a railway move you could do on Saturday?"
Is there a railway move I can do?
There's ALWAYS a railway move I can do

I initially intended to do my usual trick when on short notice moves and head to Manchester or Liverpool, but then something caught my eye.
A massive loco, one of my most wanted, was booked to work and I just had to do it.
This was a solo move as 45135 was doing his own thing many miles away, hopefully he will fill us all in later.
I was out of the house by 08.00 and reached the Midland Railway-Butterley just before 09.30.
I was the last person in the queue and the station chap came into the booking office to count how many people were still to get tickets as they had very kindly decided to hold the 09.30 until everyone had the chance to board.
However, I never intended to make that service and had another plan, so thanked him but said I wasn't doing it.
I must be the first person in history to reject 37905 in favour of 141113!
I haven't had a 141 since the 1990s and relished the opportunity to renew the acquaintance.
Due to my method of recording back then (i.e. not bothering to write units down most of the time and when I did it was with a simple "H" next to the number, giving me no help at all these days) I had no 141 haulages in my book, despite having had most, if not all, of them.
This was rectified with a mega mileage run to Swanwick Junction and the main attraction of the day.
31233 was the only mainline 31 that I required and it became my 99th member of the class for haulage when I took it, along with 31162, from Swanwick to Hammersmith.
I still need three preserved examples, so three figures is a distinct possibility.
Before it started carting passengers about 31233 helped out by shunting 31108 around the yard:

Once I had taken my seat I didn't leave it for the duration of my day's loco moves.
So to prevent boredom, I've just done a list of what I did after that:
31233/31162 Hammersmith - Riddings
31233/31162 Riddings - Swanwick Jnc
37905/97304 Swanwick Jnc - Hammersmith
37905 Hammersmith - Codnor Park Jnc
97304 Codnor Park Jnc - Swanwick Jnc
31233/97304 Swanwick Jnc - Hammersmith
31233/97304 Hammersmith - Riddings
31233/37905 Riddings - Swanwick Jnc
I scored the Codnor Park line, all 24 chains of it, although I can't say it's been keeping me awake at nights
Then a few photos, including:
It seems like only last week I had 37905 for haulage. Oh, wait a minute, it was:

One for all the Peak fans on here

, personally I think 46045 looks fantastic:

My last move was to head back to Butterley on 141113, meaning I've cleared both coaches of the unit
This could be West Yorkshire in the 80s, dubious destination blind notwithstanding.
08590 (once a Leeds based machine) completes the picture:

So that was that, another winner to add to my yearly total and what a biggie it was.
