Unfortunately the movement of 507012 from Kilmarnock to Birkenhead will now be by road, not rail. Likely depart Kilmarnock first week in August

Be interesting to see. do you know if it will be making it's way up Western Road in Kilmarnock? I can keep an eye out of my window. :)

507 012 went upto Kilmarnock for a C3 to relieve pressure of bhead depot. It went up when 507 002 returned following nearly 3 years out after the kirkdale derailment in 2009. 002 is yet to re enter service as it is awaiting parts as the fleet have had minor upgrades since 2009. No date has yet been set for its return to service.
