I presume that, there will be quite a few of these 50th anniversaries coming up in the next few years.

It's a great achievement as many of these plans were said to be pie in the sky when first mooted.

Well done to all the people and volunteers that have save so many of these railways, locos and rolling stock, to keep steam railways alive on preservation & heritage routes and on the main line too still.
