It's the first weekday of the Miles Platting block and northern only have a short window to get units from Newton Heath to Man Vic platform 6 so probably less a case of strengthening more a case of we need to get 2 sets on that service as it splits once it gets back to Man Vic

Moorside and Hag Fold certainly can't accommodate 5 coaches so the rear set would probably be locked out of use.

Its doable two 150s so 100 meters. You'd be able to get the all the passenger doors on at Hag Fold.

I would imagine that time of day the number of passengers would easily fit in the front unit and the rear unit was simply locked out of use.
