4TPH Euston to Birmingham

Lbz already has a fast service to eus (one of the london midland's from birmingham). Does berkhamstead and hemel need a fast line service when it already has a fairly quick service stopping only at watford before eus?

I tihnk they're pretty well served. Hemel is a bit different, being a big town with employers, hospital etc... rather than a commuter place like Berkhamsted or LB. So I could see it having a singlular intercity call. A fourth Birmingham makes sense - maybe:
Euston - HH - MKC - Coventry - B'ham Int - Barnes

Wow. You can see 14 years into the future? There is no post HS2 timetable so you can't say what the plans are.

There is an indictative one somewhere on the DfT website, I was shown it by another forum member here but can't remember where to find it.

In actual fact Network Rail's study in to potential fast line service patterns post HS2 does include the proposal to stop the Birmingham NS services at Leighton Buzzard, Hemel and Berkhamsted in the peaks and that two of these stations would be served exclusively by fast line services; and they'd stop at Northampton at all times. Milton Keynes and Rugby would still get their fast services as all WCML services will stop there.

Not all according to the above mentioned.

Please note this was discussed extensively on the HS2 thread - I don't just make stuff up and post it and I find that suggestion insulting.
