LMS 8f 48151 was the motive power for The Railway Touring companies second Cumbrian Coast Express Railtour . The tour would start at London Euston with 86259 Les Ross taking the train to Carnforth where 48151 would then take the train over the 1 in 75 climb over Shap to Carlisle with the 8f then returning the train to Carnforth via the Cumbrian Coast route. We first see the 8f working hard near Salterwath on the climb to the summit . The return would see 48151 near St Bees , Bootle station with the last shot seeing the 8f climbing Dalton Bank .
