The Scotrail livery applied to the 47/7's was also applied to one 47/4, 47461. All other Scotrail 47/4's were in Intercity original livery with Scotrail branding.

It's been suggested that 47430 also had a blue stripe at first, as opposed to a red stripe. So, did it, or didn't it? And if anyone does know, what date did it gain and lose the blue stripe?
