These two Class 47s with a rake of West Coast ECS were at Lockerbie around 1845 today. Stayed in P2 a good 15mins with some kind of problem with the leading one. Meanwhile Northern Belle excursion went through on the loop, bystander said it was Edinburgh to Manchester(!) dining excursion.

But Realtimetrains has 5Z66 departing at 1901 and 1Z12 leaving the UPL at 1904, why are they shown leaving in the wrong order though they are mysteriously the right way round at Ecclefechan?

5Z66 was the 08 26 ECS working from Tom na Faire depot (Fort William) to Carnforth Steamtown....pesumably a stock maintenance changeover for the Jacobite workings.

1Z12 was the 17 24 from Edinburgh Northern Belle dining train returning to Liverpool Lime Street.

I'm wondering whether Network Rail's system input was incorrect as to the order in which the two trains departed from Lockerbie....and whether RTT just picked it up from there?
