466 at Hornsey

Evening all, went past Hornsey TMD yesterday evening (29th August) and two SE 466's were sitting in the sidings coupled together with a barrier wagon at each end. Any one know what they are doing there?

I've been away for a few days so sorry if this topic has already been discussed.

There was a 465 at Willisden TMD about two weeks ago. Does anyone know which one it was?

They are being repainted, SE refreshed them about 18 months ago, loosing their NSE seats :cry:

Whilst we're on the Networker topic, are the old livery examples (the ones with yellow doors/grey skirt) still in NSE livery underneath, as you can see the NSE colours under the doors when they are open

They can leave them up there aswell or at least put some new brakes on them lol

Is that some kind of SET modification? Personally, I prefer tighter seats.

I've been away for a few days so sorry if this topic has already been discussed.

They were on their way to the works to be refurbished however though for some reason the brakes on the translator vehicles kept going on so as it reached Ferme Park a hour late, Network Rail refused permission for it to continue as there was obviously something wrong - got told the brakes came about 10 times while moving from Ferme Park into Hornsey depot over the flyover. There was nothing wrong with the brakes on the 466s or the loco at this time.

Thing is though when the loco and the translator vehicles came down to collect the 466s, there were no problems with the translator vehicles at all - They got collected yesterday afternoon though and are currently at the works.
