465 on the WCML

I'm probably missing something obvious here but last night on my night shift, at around 05:00 we had a 6Y52 pass through Watford, which after me nosing out the window turned out to be a 67 dragging a 465.

TRUST showed it as Wembley Yard to Wolverton Works. Anyone got any idea whats happening to this unit?

Southeastern are sending the /0 and /1 sub classes to Wolverton and the /2 and /9 to Chart Leacon for regular long-term maintenance, according to Railway Herald (page 6)

Article actually says that the /2 & /9s are going to Doncaster.

They are going to Wolverton for a half life reburbishment at Railcare. It is a program that will take some time.

At last there getting a refurb!

I will miss there NSE interior though but they are in need of a good refurb. Anyway no good me taking any photographs as I see them everyday!

It would only take me about 15 minutes to go through a whole unit and remove all the seating in the current condition there in !

Anyway they'll still be my favorite units and hoping the refurb on the Class 465s turns out like the refurbs on the 465/9s.
