I'm probably missing something obvious here but last night on my night shift, at around 05:00 we had a 6Y52 pass through Watford, which after me nosing out the window turned out to be a 67 dragging a 465.

TRUST showed it as Wembley Yard to Wolverton Works. Anyone got any idea whats happening to this unit? :D

Southeastern are sending the /0 and /1 sub classes to Wolverton and the /2 and /9 to Chart Leacon for regular long-term maintenance, according to Railway Herald (page 6)

Ahh thanks for that. Quite pleased to see that, will be nice to have some occasional different stock passing through to the usual.

They are going to Wolverton for a half life reburbishment at Railcare. It is a program that will take some time.

Each unit is meant to only take a day to clean sounds a bit quick?

It would only take me about 15 minutes to go through a whole unit and remove all the seating in the current condition there in !

Anyway they'll still be my favorite units and hoping the refurb on the Class 465s turns out like the refurbs on the 465/9s.

Considering the route these trains run on, I'm surprised the locals haven't already stripped the train in advance.
