LMS 46233 The Duchess of Sutherland was at the helm of PMRT'S railtour The Thames Clyde Express over the S&C. The tour started at Nottingham and would take the Settle and Carlisle line to Carlisle and would return to Leicester via the same route . 46233 travelled to Hellifield from Carnforth the day before in readiness for coming onto the train . The first shot on the S&C would see 46233 passing North of Helwith bridge and then in the cutting before near Horton in Ribblesdale station . The return would see 46233 at Eden Lacy Viaduct but she just flew over shut off ( not my best choice of locations ) . After the water stop at Appleby 46233 is seen at Waitby rock cutting . The Duchess did come to a near stop after Horton station for some reason .
