I saw the engine at about 21.00. It was held at a signal on the slow line just north of Stafford (heading south). I passed it on the fast then crossed over to go into platform 4. When I pulled into the station The Northern Belle was in platform 3 waiting to depart heading north. Quite a night for celebrities!
