LMS 45699 Galatea took the helm of The Railway Touring Companies 2nd Winter Cumbrian Mountain Express of 2014 from Carnforth over Shap to Carlisle and back to Manchester via the Settle and Carlisle line later the same afternoon.46115 Scots Guardsman was due to haul the train but 45699 stepped in at the last minute after problems with the Scot . 45699 is first seen on the climb in gale force winds filmed from Shap Wells . The late running return sees 45699 at Newbiggin and then at Waitby rock cutting after the water stop at Hellifield .The Jubilee would be taken of the train at Hellifield with a class 47 taking the train on to Farington Junction.
