455832 Freaky display - announcements to GLD

Southern 455832 worked to guildford tonight.

Freaky display ... something like.

CLS455zGuildford ... 6London Road 4 Guildford ....

Weird

Ranted about London Road Guildford at Horsley.

Put Clandon on Display once or wice (after Horsley?). Southern Dispalys/Public address never mention Clandon. Never. Even if stopping there. Never. AFAIK.

At London Road Guildford said 'Guildford' once ... and left Guildford on display.

Then silence and blank display to guildford. Nothing from train manager(ess).

I think I remember about right. I may have been dreaming. At least the thing was on time more or less.

I know that on the 456 the PIS is prone to messing up. If it is the same system as on the 455s then I'm really not surprised.

I have seen it happen, however, I believe it should only be used for training/route learning. Wierdly, I have never seen it on a 456!
