Hi All

I have 2 photos of Peak class 45 number 45143 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards, on the first photo there is just a normal nameplate

But on the second ex works photo there is an additional small plate under the main nameplate

anyone know why?

A small plate was added with the dates 1685-1985 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the regiment.

There was a re-dedication ceremony but I don't remember where (possibly Derby); the second photo was probably taken shortly after this event in 1985.
