Hello all I'm just trying to find out what actually happened to 45 112 in 2001on the tour which it failed because I've seen numerous bits and bobs of info but never actually found out what fully happened so if possible could someone please explain what happened on the tour and why it's such a infamous tour?

I presume this is the one where the rumour was that 45112 had been tweaked over its rated 2,500hp, although whether that is true (or related), it failed at Bristol with, if I remember, major turbo issues.
Thank you and I'm not on about that I'm on about it failing but thank you for that neat peace of info
